Angela Thoko Didiza born 2 June 1965 is a South African politician currently serving as Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development. She held the Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs from 17 June 1999 to 22 May 2006 and later Minister of Public Works from 22 May 2006 to 25 September 2008.
Didiza was born in the city of Durban and held a BA (Hons) degree in politics. She is married and has five children.
Following the resignation of President Thabo Mbeki in September 2008, Didiza was one of ten ministers who submitted their resignations on 23 September. However, it was subsequently announced that she might be willing to remain in her post.
