Lagos Is Too Sure For APC – Tinubu

Tinubu, addressing the mammoth crowd of supporters at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, which hosted the party’s presidential campaign, said the opposition failed to put Nigeria on a pedestal of growth in the last 16 years, despite huge resources.

He said the Buhari administration had done a lot with meager funds and resources just in four years.

Today is a demonstration of democracy and it is not all about President Muhammadu Buhari. Lagos is very sure for voting Buhari and APC largely in the next election.

All the common men belong to this economy, they have to share part of democracy, we have to improve infrastructure, that’s the only way, we have to create jobs, said Tinubu.

He said Buhari made promises in his 2015 campaign that he had fulfilled since taking office.

Tinubu noted that if the opposition were dedicated in their 16-year rule to power generation, investors who left the country before 2015 would remain in the country. I introduced an industrial power generation system when I was governor of Lagos State for eight years.

Obasanjo and Atiku opposed it, I went to court and with the help of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, we won.

Please do not vote for him (Atiku).

Vote appropriately in the ballot paper for the APC and avoid your vote been void.

Tinubu also sensitized the people on how to cast their votes on election day, saying today, I want to teach the opposition a lesson.

Instead of your thumb, use your index finger and wait until the votes are counted. Earlier, Lagos State’s Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode reiterated the state’s commitment to President Buhari unalloyed support in the last three and a half years. The 2019 election is not about tribe and religion, but about the economy and infrastructure of employment.

In Lagos, the airport road makes every Lagosian ‘s life comfortable. PMB has reimbursed some of the money we used in Lagos projects. We have to keep going in that direction. PMB has created growth groundwork.
