Ameerah Sufyan Latest Update On Abduction
Ameerah who is an Abuja-based educator, a psychotherapist, and an Arabic educator revealed that they were kidnapped at gunpoint by 6 men in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
She further added that the perpetrators were 4 Yoruba men and 2 Fulani men, and they kidnapped 17 victims, Lite9ja Media reports.
Among the abductees were three pregnant women and two children. They were kidnapped on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
After the abduction took place, Ameerah quickly sent a broadcast message including her location to her Whatsapp friends so they can aid the security operatives to easily navigate through and save the day.
Unfortunately, at the time of filing this report, Lite9ja Media gathered that when CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) was contacted, he revealed that he is not aware of the situation.
Ameerah added that other vehicles said they will reach Ilorin, and theirs will reach Ibadan or Ikeja.

Police Provide Update On Kidnap of Ameerah, Others In Abuja
The FCT Police Command has assured that it is working to free Ameerah Sufyan and other abductees.
On Tuesday, she raised an alarm via her Twitter account, @ameerah_sufyan.
The citizen alerted that she and 16 others were kidnapped at gunpoint by armed men in police uniforms.

Ameerah disclosed the captives include three pregnant women and two children, all taken from different parts of Abuja.
Her tweet and the location she shared brought the incident to light, with Nigerians demanding their immediate rescue.
On Wednesday afternoon, the FCT command provided an update on the incident.
“The investigative & tactical apparatus on the case remains as discoveries are looking promising.
“Contact is maintained with her family to speed up the investigation”, it reads.
